Who Are We?

My name is Owen and my assistant is Scout, dogs have always been a big part of my life. Having owned Border Collies for years, I’ve developed a real appreciation for their intelligence, energy and unique personalities. They’ve been trained to a high standard — although, if you ask them, herding probably isn’t where their talents lie!

My experience with dogs goes beyond my own. I’ve worked hands-on with a wide variety of breeds, from tiny Chihuahuas right through to Dobermans, and everything in between. Whether it’s taking a dog for a walk, improving lead manners, working on recall or helping owners navigate reactivity, I’ve seen first-hand that no two dogs are the same.

I believe understanding a dog is just as important as teaching it. Every dog has its own personality, challenges and way of learning, so I take an individual, practical and patient approach rather than expecting every dog to fit the same mould.

I’m passionate about helping owners build better relationships with their dogs, make everyday walks more enjoyable and develop habits that work in real life — not just in the training environment.

I’m hands-on, approachable and always looking for ways to help dogs and their owners move forward together.

No two dogs are the same. Neither should their training be.
